Emily Eckardt

Originally from New Jersey, I am about to graduate after four transformative years at Dickinson College. My highlights have included working extensively with the local homeless community, protesting to change my campus' sexual assault policy, employing my German language skills for a semester in Bremen, spending a week on the Tohono O'odham Reservation, tutoring a local Columbian family in English, and experiencing Indian culture for five months in Hyderabad. Most recently, I had the privilege to participate in the Baird Fellows Program with a diverse and innovate group of students and faculty to explore the many dimensions of sustainability. I am eager to bring all of my competencies and passions together at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh, where I will serve as a Fellow during the upcoming year.
